- It's from authorized distributors such as Zitron, Avaxx, T-Choice, FMG..yada2
- If any problem occurs during warranty period, you can send it back to any service centre..of course depends on the phone brand you bought
- Service centre will use genuine parts only
- Usually warranty period is 1 year and it covers full set(charger, hp, handsfree..)
How To Identify?
- Hp and other accessories must have authorized distributor sticker
- Check IMEI(*#06#). It must be same with sticker on the phone and package box
- Stand for Approved Product
- Initially, it's made for outside markets, but has been brought in and sell it to customer
- Among the distributor is CSL, Nefion, Testra..yada2
- Phone user interface and OS version might be slightly different
- Usually the 1 year warranty only covers the phone itself. Accessories like battery, charger only get 1 month warranty
- If any problem occur in warranty period, you need to send to the place you bought the phone
- AP sets do pay government tax. It's only distributed by small time companies like stated above(if they goes bankrupt, haa..think for yourself)..
- Might be stolen product or
- Product brought in from outside and doesn't have SIRIM sticker on it
TOUCHSCREEN
There are two main type of touchscreen available which is Resistive and Capacitive
RESISTIVE
- Works by sensing a force applied on the screen hence the name RESISTive
- Can use anything (finger, fingernail, pen, pencel..etc) to point
- Touch sensitive can be set - but touch pressure is needed
- Cheap
- The screen usually using soft material thus prone to scratch.
- Need frequent calibration
- Cannot do multi-touch.
- Human body is conductor. Touching the surface of the screen results in a distortion of the body's electrostatic field
- Only works by using conductor pointer
- Glass - more resistant to scratch and blemishes
- More expensive than resistive
- Can do multi-touch
- Very responsive - even a slight touch can trigger the sensor
